Completed Testing

With our silicone rubber testing centers, we ensure to meet quality assurance to your specifications.
We are fully capable of conducting the following tests and measures: Hardness, Resilience performance, Vulcanization performance, Temperature tolerance, Plasticity performance, Compression set, Tensile and tear strength, Chemical and heat aging, Material composition, Material properties at temperatures from -70 °C to 300 °C, etc.

 Weighing and adding vulcanizing agent

We take a small silicone rubber sample before adding a certain proportion of vulcanizing agents. Which will increase the silicone rubber's strength, elasticity, and durability by adding sulfur or other accelerators.

Heat Curing

We use heat curing to accelerate the curing process. We'll heat the rubber mold at 180°C in 8 minutes to accelerate molding and curing.

Post curing

Post-curing will enhance the physical properties and performance of any molded rubber. The average cure cycle for a molded rubber takes 4 to 6 hours at 200°C.

Tensile strength testing

We perform tensile testing by placing vulcanized silicone rubber samples between grips. The samples have pre-determined lengths and cross-sectional areas. We then start to apply weights to the material fixed at both ends. This technique lets us measure the sample's tensile strength and ductility data.

Tear strength testing

Tear strength measures the ability of a material to resist tear damage. For silicone rubber products, we measure the growth rate of existing cracks while the material is under tension. We calculate the tension per millimeter of thickness using Newtons, concluding the test after the sample breaks

Hardness testing

For silicone rubber products, we measure hardness using the Shore Durometer test. This test lets you know how deeply you can press a small cone into the surface of the silicone. Different silicone products have varying hardness requirements. We can customize according to customer requests.

Rebound testing

We drop a weighted ball from a specified height onto a given material sample. The rebound height of the ball is then measured and used to determine the material's elasticity to stress.

Plasticity testing

We evaluate a sample’s plasticity according to its height change under constant temperature and load after a certain period.

Vulcanization testing

Vulcanization is a chemical process in which rubber is heated with sulfur, accelerators, and activators at 140–160°C. The process involves the formation of crosslinks between long rubber molecules. This step measures the vulcanization speed curve of silicone rubber.
