Liquid Silicone Rubber for Electrical Products
know more about LSR silicone
1.Basic Knowledge of LSR Silicon
Like other rubbers, you can make various products out of liquid silicone rubber (LSR). This variant includes two agents:
- A and B
- mixed 1:1
then injected into the mold through an LSR injection molding equipment. LSR is suitable for products where the typical rubber isn’t enough.

This rubber variant requires large-scale continuous production of silicone polymer with:
- fast vulcanization speed
- low molding temperature
You can also combine it with composite applications. Moreover, the biocompatibility of liquid silicone rubber is a crucial product requirement.
2. General properties of our LSR silicone rabber
Our Silicone rubber compounds have characteristics of both inorganic and organic materials, and offer a number of advantages not found in other organic rubbers.
Resistance to oils, solvents, and other chemicals
Tear strength and tensile strength
Heat and cold resistance
Top transparency
Moisture and steam resistance
Electrical insulation
Thermal conductivity
Flame retardancy
Electrical conductivity
Gas permeability
3. Fine Application of Silicone Rubber
Silicone rubber have been used in nearly every industry to improve and quality and functionality of products including:
4. Delivery forms of LSR Silicone Rubber
Our LSR liquid silicone rubber are supplied as 2-component systems.
The A component contains the platinum catalyst, while the B component contains the cross linker.
- 20-kg pails with a PE inliner (ø inside 280 mm)
- 200-kg drums with a PE inliner (ø inside 571.5 mm)
5. Storage of the LSR
General Information on Storing the Liquid Silicone Rubber.
- Store in closed containers in cool rooms at 0 – 30 °C.
- Higher average temperatures may shorten the shelf life.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- When opening the container, make sure that no dirt falls onto the surface of the rubber.
